DESCRIPTION:Cape Charles Community Sailing hosts their 7th annual Summer Regatta as an end-of-season celebration at The Oyster Farm. \nSailors should arrive by 9:00 am to ready their boat and attend the skippers meeting on F-dock. The first race kicks off at 9:30am. You are able to reserve one of Cape Charles Community Sailing’s sunfish to use for the regatta or you may bring your own.  Light refreshments will be available at the end of the regatta during the final celebration and awards ceremony. \nTo register\, click here.  \n“If your sailor isn’t confident in their racing abilities\, but still wants to participate; we can pair them up with another sailor. SUMMARY:Park Maintenance Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:Join Citizens for Central Park in maintaining the beauty of Central Park! Since the park dedication (Labor Day Weekend of 2010)\, the need for volunteers has continued and expanded to include the summer concert series which is in its twelfth year in 2025. \nThe past two years\, volunteers have met one day a week (2 hours) to help with park maintenance and improvements in 2025 labeled ‘Thursdays in the Park’. This year\, in addition to Thursdays in the park\, the first Saturday of most months were included as well for those who’s schedule prevents them from joining us during the week. \nVolunteers will meet in the vendor parking area on the south side of the park. Bring your own gloves\, water\, trowel\, shovel\, saw\, pruners\, broom\, shovel (if you don’t have any of these just join us – we always have extra should you not have your own) – but always bring your sense of humor.
