The dip in the bay will be held Saturday\, February 28\, 2026\, at the Cape Charles Beach. The proceeds from the February Freeze are used to help provide vital housing for those in need on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We are grateful that fundraising efforts have allowed us to build on average two houses a year. Eastern Shore Habitat hosts three major fundraisers a year and this event is integral for us to continue our mission. The need for housing is in great demand on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Annually\, we receive numerous applicants asking to be selected for houses\, and only two applicants are chosen by the selection committee for Habitat houses each year. \nThere are a few ways for you to be involved in the Annual February Freeze. First\, you can participate as an individual or as a team in raising pledges to take the plunge with fellow dippers.
