DESCRIPTION:The VA250 Mobile Museum Experience will be visiting Ker Place to inspire us as we ready for Virginia’s 250th celebration in 2026.\nThe Mobile Museum will be on site for three days. Thursday\, October 9th through Saturday\, October 11\, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day. \nThe VA250 Mobile Museum Experience titled “Out Of Many\, One\,” will be parked in the Market Street Methodist Lot near the gate that borders Ker Place and Market Street Methodist. Ker Place and the VA250 Mobile Museum will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM from Thursday to Saturday to help kick off our Living History on the Lawn event commemorating the Revolutionary War and America’s fight for freedom. Field trips to the Mobile Museum are available through Ker Place by appointment. \nIf you would like to see a sneak peek of the VA250 Mobile Museum\, check out this video!

Julie\, the Lead Gardener of Ker Place Herb & Kitchen Garden\, will provide a hands-on demonstration showcasing the practical uses of herbs then and now. This lecture will be free and open to the public! \nThe lecture will be held outdoors on Ker Place grounds\, weather permitting. Please bring your own lawn chair. If there is poor weather on September 5th\, the lecture will be held indoors at Ker Place.
